Our business is driven by the technology that powers the platforms we use to administer our products. We use state-of-the-art encryption technology for both data storage and backup. Our data is house in a secure, offsite location. We use secure socket layered connections (SSL) for our systems.
Our online platforms are cloud-based which means that they are not installed to a hard drive. They are accessible from any computer with an internet connection, and there is nothing to download. It’s just a matter of going to the log-in page and inputting your user name and password. The platforms are totally flexible, so that participants and employers have differing levels of access.
We are also fully HIPAA compliant, so there is no need to worry about federal regulations. We’ve got it covered.
Our iPhone and Droid apps allow participants to check their balances on the go, and in the future will allow users to file claims simply by snapping a photo of the documentation with their phone’s camera. We also plan to roll out text message functionality for users that do not have an iPhone or Droid.
We are also going to introduce our newest value-added feature, Workable Wellness. This wellness program is fully tailored to the individual participant’s needs (heart healthy, women’s health, etc.) and allows the user to track their exercise and eating habits. It also allows users to look up the nutritional information of common restaurant and brand name grocery items and provides instructional videos for virtual personal training. We like to consider it as the one-stop shop for wellness, and it can even be integrated into corporate incentive programs by linking up to consumer driven accounts such as FSAs, HRAs, etc. Users who complete the six-week tailored programs can be rewarded with extra funds, and the employer is rewarded with a healthier workforce.
