
CAREFLEX DCAP is a flexible spending account specific to those with dependent care needs. CareFlex DCAP pays for itself.
It allows employees to set aside a portion of their paycheck before taxes to offset eligible supervised care costs that allow the employee to work. These costs include before/after-school care, daycare, eldercare, and even summer camps.
Employees deduct work-related dependent care expenses pre-tax, up to $5,000 annually. Employers will save nearly $80 in FICA taxes for every $1,000 that employees deduct. That means you’ll save more than CareFlex costs. We do the work, including the tracking payments and balances, annual compliance testing and fast reimbursments. CareFlex includes the DirectPay Benefits Card for easy payments to daycare providers.
